A decagon is a flat shape with 10 sides and 10 corners. It can be regular (all sides equal) or irregular.
The decagon belongs to the polygon family. When all its sides and angles are equal, it is called a regular decagon. When sides or angles differ, it is an irregular decagon.
Sides and Vertices
The sides are also called segments. In the image below, the sides are marked in purple. The vertices are the corner points where two sides meet — they are marked in red.
